GUARANTEE (GTY) BOOKING: We may (at our discretion) offer you the option of making a ‘Guarantee’ (GTY) booking. This means you may book a suite of a guaranteed minimum category type (specified by us prior to booking) on your chosen ship. However, the exact location of the suite on the ship will be allocated by us (at our discretion) and at any time up until checking in at the port. There is a small number of accessible suites at certain grades that may be allocated to you. Once your GTY suite has been allocated to you we are unable to accept changes requested by you. If you have a specific requirement, or suite location we suggest you do not book a GTY. Please note: if you book multiple segments there is a possibility that you may be allocated different suites on each segment of your cruise, therefore necessitating the need to move between suites on the changeover day between your consecutive segments.

INSURANCE: All guests must have appropriate personal travel insurance to cover against cancellation, medical expenses, repatriation in the event of accident or illness, loss of luggage etc. It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that adequate insurance is taken, and we strongly recommend that you contact your travel agent or an independent insurance broker for details of suitable policies. Regent Seven Seas Cruises® will not be liable for any losses as a result of lacking or inadequate level of insurance cover. Insurance can only be purchased prior to departure.

MEDICAL SERVICES: Our vessels are equipped with limited medical facilities and staffed by internationally accredited medical personnel. Customary Emergency Room Fees and charges apply for medical services. Guests needing special services, including wheelchairs, motorised scooters, oxygen therapy, etc. must advise Regent Seven Seas Cruises® in writing at time of deposit. Please note some ports of call may not be suitable for Guests with limited mobility and may preclude debarkation with or without the aid of a wheelchair or motorised scooter. Regent Seven Seas Cruises® has the right to refuse or revoke passage to anyone who, in its judgement, is unfit for travel or whose comfort on board may be compromised due to situations beyond the care that can be provided by Regent Seven Seas Cruises®.

REFUSAL OF TRAVEL: If in our reasonable opinion of the Ship’s Master or doctor, you are or appear to be unfit to travel for any reason or a risk or a danger to yourself or a danger to others or behave in such a way as to cause or likely to cause danger, upset or distress to any third party or danger to property. In this situation we are entitled without prior notice to refuse to allow you to travel on any ship and to terminate your cruise holiday at any time. You may then be left at any port or place at which the ship calls without our incurring any liability. You will have to pay any costs, expenses or losses suffered as a result, and we will not pay any compensation of refund. Once your holiday has been terminated in this manner, we will not have any further responsibility towards you. The same right to refuse to allow you to travel or to use any services applies where you are or appear to be unfit to travel or otherwise behave badly as set out above during any other part of your holiday.

CHILDREN, INFANTS AND UNACCOMPANIED MINORS: Infants sailing onboard must be six (6) months of age at time of sailing. However, for voyages that have three (3) or more consecutive days at sea, the infant must be at least one (1) year of age at time of sailing. No refunds or other compensation shall be due from Regent Seven Seas Cruises® as a result of the denial of boarding to an underage infant or any accompanying Guests. Any Guest under the age of 18 must be accompanied by and occupy the same suite as an adult 18 years or older. Regent Seven Seas Cruises® does not provide for the care, entertainment or supervision of children.

CLOTHING SUGGESTIONS: Attire ranges from Casual to Formal Optional. Casual wear is appropriate for daytime onboard or ashore, and consists of resort-style outfits. Casual wear, including shorts and jeans, is not appropriate after 6:00 pm, with the exception of the final evening of the cruise. On the night prior to disembarkation, guests may need to pack their luggage early due to morning flights the next day. With this in mind, on the last night of every voyage we will relax the dress code for dinner to Casual.

The recommended onboard dress in the evenings is Elegant Casual resort wear. Formal and semi-formal attire is optional on sailings of 16 nights or more. Dinner dress includes skirt, or slacks with blouse or sweater, pant suit or dress for ladies; slacks and collared shirt for gentlemen. Sport jackets are optional. Jeans, shorts, t-shirts or tennis shoes are not to be worn at dinner. Ties are not required.

SPECIAL DIETS & REQUESTS: The Company will endeavor, but does not guarantee, to meet any special dietary requirements or special requests that you may have. These should be advised at the time of booking and detailed in writing to the Company. Note: “Strict” Kosher meals must be requested at least 3 months prior to departure. Please contact Reservations for more detailed information and prices. Some requests may incur extra charges. The fact that a special request has been noted on your confirmation invoice or any other documentation or that it has been passed on to the supplier is not confirmation that the request will be met. Failure to meet any special request will not be a breach of contract on our part unless the request has been specifically confirmed. Unless specifically agreed by us in writing at time of booking, we cannot accept any booking which is conditional on a special request being satisfied. Such bookings will be treated as normal bookings subject to the above comments on special requests.

GUESTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS: Except as set out below, our ships have selected suites designated for Guests with physical disabilities. Please contact the company for further information. You must ensure that you are medically and physically fit for travel, and that such travelling will not endanger yourself or anyone else. At the time of booking (or as soon as possible if the condition arises after booking) you must tell your travel in writing about any medical or physical condition which will or may require medical treatment or attention during your holiday or which may or will affect your holiday in any way (including your use of any services or facilities). Please provide as much information as possible. Guests who use wheelchairs must provide their own collapsible wheelchair and may find certain areas of the ship inaccessible. If you would like to bring a motorized wheelchair or scooter on board you must contact our Special Services Department at time of booking to provide the dimensions as size limitations may apply and we may not be able to accommodate this request. Certain conditions (for example, use of tenders) may prevent Guests with wheelchairs from going ashore at certain ports of call. Guests affected by disability or medical condition must be self-sufficient or travel with someone who can provide all necessary assistance. Acting reasonably, if we are unable to properly accommodate the needs of the person(s) concerned, we will not confirm your booking, we will cancel it and impose applicable cancellation charges when we become aware of these details.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION: All Guests must have passports valid for six months following disembarkation and necessary visas when boarding and passports must be shown at embarkation. It is the Guest’s responsibility to ensure that they have all necessary documents to participate in the cruise or cruise tour which they have purchased and Regent Seven Seas Cruises® and Encore Cruises accepts no responsibility for obtaining required visas nor for advising Guests of visa or other immigration requirements. Travel documents are issued approximately 25 days prior to departure. Identity Cards will NOT be accepted instead of a passport regardless of the itinerary, guests will not be allowed to embark without a passport.

CURRENCY: Regent Seven Seas Cruises requires that all payments made on board to the company shall be in US Dollars. We operate a ‘cashless system’. At the time of embarkation, we request registration of an accepted credit card, we are unable to accept debit cards onboard. The night prior to your final disembarkation from the ship, a detailed statement of your shipboard charges for on board services and products will be delivered to your suite. All such charges must be paid in full by cash, travelers cheque or accepted credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). On limited itineraries the ship may offer foreign currency exchange from the Reception desk. All onboard foreign currency exchange transactions will be charged to the Guest’s onboard account and a 5% transaction fee will be applied. In certain ports of call, due to local regulations, the ships purser’s office will not be able to exchange foreign currency for US Dollars.
ITINERARY: Guests acknowledge that the scheduled itinerary is subject to delay, modification, or port-of-call cancellation due to weather and other causes beyond the control of Regent Seven Seas Cruises®, if necessary, at the sole discretion of Regent Seven Seas Cruises®, Regent Seven Seas Cruises® may substitute ports-of-call or make itinerary changes. Regent Seven Seas Cruises® does not assume responsibility or liability for any loss or expense incurred by Guests as a result of any changes or cancellations.

PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED GUESTS: Guests with any medical conditions(s) or special needs that may require treatment or attention or accommodation during the voyage, or needing to travel with medical apparatus, including wheelchairs, motorized scooters, oxygen therapy, etc., must advise Regent Seven Seas Cruises® in writing at time of deposit. Please note some ports of call may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility and special arrangements may need to be made at the guests’ expense. Regent Seven Seas Cruises® has the right to refuse or revoke passage to anyone who, in its judgment, is in a physical, mental or emotional condition unfit for travel or whose comfort on board may be compromised due to situations beyond the care that can be provided by Regent Seven Seas Cruises®. Regent Seven Seas Cruises® will under appropriate circumstances, permit its guests to use special equipment as noted above.

PREGNANCY POLICY: Regent Seven Seas Cruises will not accept any Guests who will have entered their 24th week of pregnancy at the time their travel with Regent Seven Seas Cruises concludes. We do not represent that travel is safe during any point in the pregnancy of a Guest. Advice should be sought from your medical practitioner prior to embarkation. The period specified above represents our minimum requirement. Some countries place limitations on the entry of non-national pregnant women. Check with the relevant embassy or consulate before you travel to confirm any further limitations.
